Eating Out!

Mom wanted to do a family meal but didn't want to have anyone worry about the cooking part. So, we decided to act like good Protestants and go out to eat after attending church together, ha ha! We went to Chuy's and enjoyed every bite!

Savannah and David had a daddy/daughter date and grabbed sushi, a Sav favorite.

And of course you can't come for a visit without heading over to BJ's for a pizookie!

An Evening at the Temple

What a wonderful blessing it was to spend an evening all together doing baptisms at the Louisville temple. What made it even more special was that it was Ciara's first time!

Afterwards we headed to the Cracker Barrel for dinner. That turned out to be a HUGE mistake! Although there are lots of cool things to look at while you wait...

we waited over an hour to be seated. Turns out they were short on servers and on cooks. It took awhile to get our order taken (even though we were almost the only ones in the restaurant at this point)...

and then we waited almost an hour to get our food which they kept bringing out at different times. It was a fiasco! David was able to bring the check amount down, which was nice, but I don't think we'll be going back to that Cracker Barrel again. Hey, at least we all could laugh about it on the way home! It was truly a memorable night in more ways than one!
