Our Day at the Beach

Finally, after a lot of planning and moving things around, we got our day at Rehobath Beach! And this is why we got our big car - so everyone could bring a friend!
A motley looking crew.
Instead of getting in the water right away, everyone did their own thing for a bit. Parker and Noah threw a football...
Lauren and Savannah got some food...
and Harrison and Xander set up camp...
though it didn't take long for Xander to get digging and building. It's his favorite thing to do at the beach!
Once the Wines arrived, the kids decided it was time to hit the water!
My little sand monster!
Meanwhile, back at camp...
Noah and Parker had a blast in the waves! They were literally in there for hours!
The rest of us did a lot of reading and relaxing, just enjoying feeling the sand between our toes.
And of course the building continued...
They finally came out for some sustenance.
Savannah and her shells.
There they go again!
While David took a nap and I read...
the boys went to have some fun on the boardwalk.

Smiles, shells...
and selfies.
Time for our favorite - funnel cake!! Our day at the beach would not be complete without it.
I love this girl of mine!
Time for a photo shoot! There were A LOT of outtakes, ha ha! Waves, distractions, and pure silliness!
But we did get some good ones!

Another wonderful day at the beach!!

Rocks With Friends

This trip to Rock State Park we lost Xander but gained several of our friends.
Melissa shared her chips with us and then gave us a big grin!
We actually got a pretty decent group picture!
Cute little Emi loved hanging out with Noah.
Love hangin' with these ladies; they're so much fun!
The little ones LOVED Noah, ha ha!
A little fishing...
and a lot of floating.
After spending the morning hanging out in the shallow area of the water, the boys decided it was time to float down the river.
Off they go! The plan was the moms would drive down the river a bit to the big jumping rock and meet up with them there.
As we waited at the big rock, we started to get a little nervous thinking a whole lot of time had gone by and the boys still weren't there. But finally, we spotted them!
I heard Noah was a bit of a goof off on the trip down which doesn't surprise me one bit.
We finished off our morning with some rock jumping!
