Christmas 2019

Christmas morning! Time to see what Santa brought!
Favorite book series...
Legos, of course...
and some cool Timberland boots which are back in style!
A sampling of other gifts, including cool Denver Broncos socks from his sister...
and a drawing from Noah.
Ciara and her faces, ha ha!
Kellan saved up his money to get Noah a Cam Newton funko pop! What a sweetie!
Savannah lookin' stylin' in her boots and shorts, ha ha!
Christmas Day is always super chill. We watch movies, hang with family, put together Legos, and snack on delicious treats. The Clarks went to Ryan's parents for dinner so it was just our family with Mom and Dad and Bryan. Always such a special day!

Christmas Eve 2019

Time to head to Cincinnati for Christmas!!
Preparing for one of our favorite meals of the year.
I absolutely love this picture of my dad!
I even helped him prepare the steak this year. Mine was a very important role - holding the flashlight.
The kids table...
me and my silly niece...
and the adult table. We always love pausing from our own conversations and listenting to what the kids are talking about at their table. They're always extremely loud and laugh a lot.
When the kids came and told us they wanted to act out the nativity as part of our Christmas Eve program we were all a little nervous but they did a great job keeping on point and appropriate.
Our Christmas Eve is steeped in tradition - scripture reading, singing carols, and listening to a few Christmas stories, including Twas the Night Before Christmas read by my dad.
Some beautiful pictures of the kids in front of the tree.
The last tradition of the evening - opening Christmas jammies.

Another wonderful Christmas Eve spent with the ones we love.

Our Seminary Christmas Celebration

The last day before Christmas break we had our seminary Christmas celebration!
The sweaters,
the food,
and the gift exchange!
Towards the end of class we headed outside to light our lamps that the kids had made earlier in the week. What a wonderful experience...
until we all couldn't take the cold anymore! Boy, was it freezing!! We headed inside for one last group Christmas picture of all my festive students!
