Celebrating Dad

To celebrate Dad's birthday, we all went to his grave and drank a toast to him. We shared favorite memories and talked about what a wonderful husband, dad, and grandpa he is. Tears were shed but it was a such a special time remembering him and how much he means to all of us.
Afterwards we stopped at Graters, one of his favorite ice cream spots. Enjoying a cherry soda just for dad!

July Fun

Staying busy in July! Cheering on the cousins at swim meets...
Noah attending Stake Youth Conference up in Kirtland with David going as one of the chaperones.
Noah enjoyed becoming closer friends with the youth in our ward, the games, and ice cream...
while David enjoyed evening walks...
and beautiful sunsets.
Enjoying lots of time with my girl, including the night we watched World War Z and decided to become teeth gnashing zombies!
Evenings on the deck watching Cleo try to catch fireflies...
and days lounging on the deck reading and enjoying the sunshine.
The completed splatter paint temple picture...
and lots of cousin time while Heidi and Ryan are out of town.
Somebody is now taller than McKenna!
This little cutie's swim banquet...
and teaching Noah about mowing the lawn and lines!!
Spending time with fabulous missionaries! It's always hard when it's time for them to leave.

Independence Day 2022

"The happy union of these states is a wonder; thier constitution a miracle; their example the hope of Liberty throughout the world." James Madison

We started off our Independence Day super early, volunteering at a local 5K event. No, we didn't run, ha ha, but we helped set up signs and decorations.
Early afternoon we headed over to the Clark's for a day of sun, swim, food, and celebration of our wonderful country! We love America!!
