Our ward's Trunk or Treat event is always one of our favorite activities of the year but this year it fell into the category of sub-par. First, Savannah and Xander decided not to go which was a huge bummer for me. The next disappointment was that my friend who was going to do my ultra-cool Maleficent makeup cancelled on me. And finally, several of my friends who usually attend weren't there either and David is always off mingling so I ended up sitting alone eating my soup. Needless to say, this year's Trunk or Treat did not make the highlight reel; I didn't even stay long enough to get pictures of Parker and Noah trunk or treating! Here are the few pictures I did grab:

Savannah's Final Game
Playoffs Round Two - Edgewood vs C. Milton
From the title one can surmise that the outcome was not what we had hoped for. However, what a great season for our Edgewood Rams and what a great soccer career for my girl. Some final pictures of Savannah's soccer life!
Always fighting hard for that ball!
One of my favorite pictures of her on the field!
I love how the woman who took these photos put her name on it.
We ended up losing 2-0 and on my recording of her final moments on the field you can hear my sniffing as I cried through it. It's so hard to say goodbye to something that has been such a huge part of our lives these past 12 or 13 years. I have loved every minute of it!
One last picture of the team!
And a picture with a former Celtic teammate, Emma. (They were smiling through the tears.)

Sports Week 9
Playoffs have arrived! First up - Aberdeen. We weren't too worried about this game because we've never had a problem beating Aberdeen and we didn't have today.
Some shots of my girl!
Trap...
control...
go!
A tough shot on goal!
Final score - Edgewood 5 Aberdeen 0. Next up - C. Milton Wright!
The Edgewood JV football team also played Aberdeen and had a great game, winning 52 (I think) to 24.

Seminary Octoberfun!
The fun never stops, even at 6:00 in the morning. We had several birthdays to celebrate in October...
including my own! My sweet friend Melissa decorated the room for my special day. I was so touched walking in the room and realizing it was all for me.
Spirit weeks for Edgewood...
and Patterson Mill. I love how into it the kids get!
We're always eating lots and lots of food!
Oh, and we do actually study the gospel! Whittling down verses to some of our favorites;
learning how to apply gospel principles as we dwell in enemy territory;
Doctrinal Mastery speed dating;
drawing lots of pictures;
taking a rest from all the fun we're having;
playing lots of games;
and Seminary Scramble for the win! It's one of their favorite activities, plus we got a special note from Bishop Pierce!
