Swimming at Wittenberg

David and I had such a fun time cheering on McKenna at her swim meet up at Wittenberg!

She had several races - a relay where she did the back stroke, the 200 free, and the 500 free which is a super long one!

There was a scary moment when one of the swimmers from the other school had some kind of episode in the pool and started to pass out and go underwater. The swimmers at that end of the pool immediately jumped in and held him up so he could breathe. The squad came and it was tense for a little bit but ultimately he was able to stay though he did not swim after that obviously. McKenna did great in all her races and we're so proud of her!

Dance Showcase

One of my favorite things to do is watch Ashlyn and Ciara dance. I attended their dance showcase where they do all their solos, duets, and group dances for family and friends before comp season starts, just to make sure they have all the kinks worked out. I am always amazed at how talented my nieces are and sometimes I even get teary-eyed watching their beautiful performances.

I love them both so much and am so proud of them! And this year I refrained from doing my own dance pose, ha ha!
