Grandparents are always handy to have around to help with homework;
help with family history projects;
and put together puzzles!
In August Savannah accepted Elder Neil L. Anderson's challenge to the youth to find family names to take to the temple. The youth temple trip was coming up in November so she and Dad spent several hours searching for names. Success!!!
One of the main reasons my parents wanted to visit in the fall was so they could watch the kids play soccer. So Saturday was our soccer day. Go, Noah!!
Two of his biggest fans.
And then we headed over to Savannah's game to do more cheering!
She got her first goal of the season in this game only to have it waived off because she was off sides. Oh, well, at least we got to see a beautiful goal.
Our cute soccer girl.
Saturday evening we all headed over to the church for the first of several fun Halloween activities - our ward's annual Trunk or Treat. Xander dressed as the Headless Horseman though he had to wear his neck on top of his head due to the "no masks" rule. He still had a great time hanging with his bud Spencer.
Savannah, Myka, and Eda.
And the also maskless Noah the werewolf! He loved showing off his hairy chest in the parade!!
Ready to hand out the candy.
"Give me some candy, Grandpa!"
Such cute trick or treaters.
Love the soccer shots! Such sporty kids. Love it. You're so right! Nothing beats Fall and Family visits!
