Homecoming Week

Homecoming week is always one of my favorites because it's Spirit Week!! This year since I was a full time sub, I tried to dress up every day. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture each day but here are a few. "Dress like a student". The kids said I nailed it!

"Mismatch Day". I wasn't too happy with the students who didn't realize I had dressed up. Seriously. And of course I had to grab a picture with my favorite Lelah who looked quite cute as a soccer mom.

On Friday it's tradition for a teacher to wear one of the football player's jerseys and I was so happy Kellan asked me to wear his. We decided to do an ode to Noah pose - "Does my neck look big?"

The best thing about this weekend? Xander is here for a visit and was able to attend the Homecoming game. We did the traditional Friday night family dinner before heading to the game.

Unfortunately for us we played Springfield for our Homecoming game but surprisingly we actually made it a game! I think our team shocked everyone by playing super tough and only losing by a touchdown. It really came down to the very end so I was super proud of our team! Afterwards I made Xander and his friends pose for a picture. I definitely didn't get enough of him with his buddies when he was in high school.
