Soccer Camp, Week 1

Ahhh, soccer camp, 2 of our most favorite weeks of the year! Despite the fact that it is extremely hot and humid, we get out there and play some soccer and have some fun! This is my third year as a coach at this soccer camp and it just keeps getting better. A lot of the same kids come back summer after summer which is fun because I get to develop a closer relationship with them. Plus Savannah and Xander love being with their friends all day.
Savannah's friend Cole lent her a Torres jersey to wear for jersey day. They were both a little unsure of taking a picture together.

Xander won this Ireland jersey in a dribbling contest the day previous. He was so excited to finally have a jersey to wear in the jersey contest. Unfortunately for Xander he can't win since I'm one of the coaches; he informed me that next year I can't coach so that he can win the contest.

Xander's group the first week was a fun little group, very willing to listen and work hard.
