Honors

We are often proud of our kids but I especially love when their achievements are academic! In February I attended a special assembly at Savannah's school where Honor Roll students were recognized and one of them was my Savannah!

Deja vu? No, Savannah received another award - she was nominated by one of her teachers for a positive referral (a behavior award).

So proud of my girl and all the hard work and effort she has put in to her schoolwork this year.

And then it was Xander's turn! He also made the Honor Roll and received the traditional handshake from the principal.

He's been doing so well in 4th grade and especially enjoys his math and science class. Although he has been challenged this year with placement in the highest reading class, he continues to work hard and earned almost all A's; one pesky little B in Spelling got him!
