Catching Up With Old Friends

We were lucky enough to meet up with some old friends this summer, ones that we haven't seen in a number of years. Our first get together was with Tianna and Meng - Tianna and Savannah were best little buds in preschool for two years but several years ago Tianna and Meng moved down to Florida and we hadn't seen them since. When they headed back up to Maryland for a visit we arranged to meet up and I'm so glad we did. We spent an afternoon at a local park...

and then headed to Sweet Frog for some yummy frozen yogurt.

These two picked up right where they had left off!

The next morning we met up at the pool for some more fun.

One of the first friends I made when we moved to Maryland was Jenn Peterson but unfortunately she moved across the country right before Noah was born. Although she visited Maryland later that year, 2007, and we've kept in touch via email and phone calls, we hadn't had a good visit in 7 years!!! We took the kids to lunch and then they all ran around the house and yard while Jenn and I chatted for a couple hours. Boy, was it nice to catch up!
