Post Surgery Celebration

It's been a week since Savannah had her surgery! The first couple of days she was super tired and a little foggy due to the drugs so most of her days consisted of PT, taking naps, and watching lots of movies, mostly romantic comedies. After several days she was ready to attempt the trip upstairs to take a shower.

The weather has been so beautiful so we made sure to get outside and catch some rays!

After a few days Savannah was able to wean herself off the heavier medication, just taking it at night, so that she could more clearly focus on her schoolwork. She's taking 5 classes this summer! Thank goodness for an online option.

To celebrate one week post surgery we headed to Graeters for some ice cream! It was her first trip out and thank goodness we beat the rain. The ice cream was delicious and she even had some kind words of encouragement from a couple whose son had had an ACL surgery. It was definitely nice to get out!

When BDubs offers all you can eat wings for $20, the O line and D line rise to the occassion, pounding away 760 wings!!! Ash and several of her friends joined in the fun and got me some great pictures!

Noah ate 60 wings on his own and wasn't feeling up to joining us for ice cream, ha ha! Look at that stack of plates!!

Such a fun memory for these guys, not so much for BDubs! I think they removed the special at some point while the boys were there.
