Football Fun

All our seniors helping out at the annual golf fundraiser.
The week of our scrimmage against Middletown, as Noah was driving home from practice, he received a call from Coach Grothjan. Due to injuries to some of our O lineman the team needed someone to help out and they were hoping Noah would be willing to switch positions for a time. Noah immediately responded that he would so Tuesday he made the switch from blue to white. Naturally we were a little worried about it but Noah seemed excited about helping out his team and working closer with Wade and Jackson. My trainer photographers knew I would want a picture of his first day on the O line.
We arrived a little early to helmet striping and were able to grab a picture!
Cutie trainers!
Love this tradition!
And this year I brought David along.
The helmet is looking sharp!
Some fellow linemen, Joe and Jackson.
Gettin' a little silly this year!
Pulling other moms into the fun!
Noah and one of his best friends, Nate.
I always keep the locker decorating pretty simple - pictures and inspirational quotes.
Media Day! Love all the pictures!
Our tough D line seniors - Noah, Brody, Nate, Vince, and Lucas.
Taking it outside and adding Carter to the mix.
I told Ashlyn she MUST get a picture of the two of them!
One afternoon the seniors surprised the Varsity cheerleaders with flowers and treats. So sweet!
The senior banners are up...
and the game schedule, with themes, is posted! Let's get this season started!!

Scrimmage vs Kings

A beautiful Saturday morning for a scrimmage against Kings!
A little meeting for the trainers.
Noah was super excited to get out there and play...
but as the morning continued, the sideline is where he stayed.
Coach Grothjan had him "warm up" with the JV a few plays and then coached him up a bit after...
And then he finally got in for some reps on Varsity. I know he was disappointed because he has put so much hard work into becoming the best D lineman he can be.
Ash got some work done on the sideline!
No matter what, I'm super proud of my Noah and excited for the season to start!
Oh, Ash, ha ha!

11 Months!

Elder Powell continues to struggle with illness so he and Xander have spent a lot of time at the apartment. Every once in awhile Xander was able to go out on exchanges.
Final days with Elder Powell as it was decided to send him home just a touch early due to medical reasons.
A hair cut and some final goodbyes before getting transferred to Eagle Mountain.
Zone Council! His new companion is Elder Whitmire.
Baptism.
Getting some planning done, ready to go out and do the work!
