A Concert and Horses

Ryan got McKenna and Savannah tickets to see Steven Sanchez in Columbus which they were both super excited about! Such a fun cousin night out!

I talked Ashlyn into going to the YW activity with me at the Buflod's ranch. They are members in our ward that train and board horses and they planned a wonderful evening for our YW to learn all about horses. Unfortunately only 3 girls were planning on being there, Ashlyn making 4. She was reluctant at first but said later that she was so glad she went. We all had such a fun time. 

The first station was all about grooming.

I was so embarrassed that the Buflods had gone to a lot of work to make this activity special and then we had so few girls show up. However, one benefit of such a small group was we actually got to ride the horses! I was so excited because I love riding horses but it has been quite a number of years so I was definitely rusty!

Brother Buflod took us out on one of the trails. It had been pouring earlier in the evening but stopped just in time for us to head out.

The last station was learning about different horses and equipment for riding. What a fun evening!
