Pompeii, Anyone?

We had a wonderful family outing to the Cincinnati Museum to check out the Pompeii exhibit. Bryan joined us and we even got Noah to go so he could fulfill a museum visit requirement for one of his AP classes.

The exhibit was amazing and included some pieces that this is their first time out of Italy!

The painted plaster pieces were some of my favorites.

The colored glass was gorgeous! I could not believe it had survived the eruption so well!

The Cleaning Crew

Cleaning the church is no joke! The smells, the dirt, the cobwebs, the bugs...yuck! But this cleaning crew was up to the task and did an amazing job! It's always more fun to do it together!

The Dragons Game

Our mid-week church youth activity was attending the Dayton Dragons baseball game. We made sure the Clarks went with us and we had a great time! Any team that has a dragon as a mascot is a team I can get behind! (Unfortunately Noah and Kellan weren't able to go with us due to football camp.)

Because it's a minor league team, there were more errors committed that led to a lot more action and scoring. 

It was an absolutely beautiful night for a baseball game.
