Basketball - Last Game

Xander's last basketball game of the season was against Parkville and right from the get go it was a tough one. We had lost several more players to bad grades, putting us with a total of eight players and only a few of our original starters. But as usual our guys gave it their all.
One of the dads told me that Xander was definitely the most improved player on the team and had come so far throughout the season. I would have to agree. I am so proud of him and the skills he has developed as a player.
We ended up losing the game but what a great season for our guys. They were an extremely tough JV team and have a great future ahead of them. We had to grab one last picture. Marcus, Timi, Eli, Coach Griff, Xander, Stephen, Dion, KJ, John, and Coach Beach.

Basketball - Patterson Mill and Havre de Grace

Third week of February brought games against Patterson Mill and Havre de Grace. Unfortunately I didn't grab any pictures of Xander in the Patterson Mill game though I did get some video. Xander got lots of playing time because we really kicked their booties.
The second game of that week was against Havre de Grace. Slowly but surely we've been losing players to bad grades which has upped Xander's play time and he has risen to the occasion, getting better with each game.
He even took a charge this game! We went away with another great win!

Noah's School Concert

Another wonderful Edgewood Middle School concert in the books! Noah has been so much happier now that he is back to playing his trumpet.
Merly got some great pictures from up in the balcony.
Noah and his best friends, Marty and Parker.

The Roaring' Twenties Valentine's Day Dance

One day Sommer and I were talking about how fun it would be to have some kind of church activity where we got to dress up so we decided to ask David if the ward could have an Adults Valentine's Day dance with a Roaring Twenties Theme. It makes things a lot easier when your husband is the bishop! What a fun night!!
A bunch of us had picked out our dresses on Amazon and met at each other's houses to style our hair. I thought we all looked pretty snazzy!
We had dinner and Kay taught us some 20's dances.
Definitely a night to remember!!
