Celebrating 20 Years!

A great start to my anniversary - breakfast in bed!
And roses!
And for the evening - that's right, Mormon Night at Camden Yards with the family and a bunch of people from our ward and stake! David and I know how to celebrate!
We didn't do the Kids Club this season so this was the first, and only, game we went to this year. All of us were super excited to be back at Camden Yards, even Noah whose expression here is quite deceiving.
Xander might have been the most excited; he LOVES baseball!!!
Noah showed a bit more enthusiasm as he tried to get the baseball players to throw him a ball.
It's always fun to visit with friends at the game.
And of course the game is pretty fun to watch as well.
I always try to grab a selfie with this little cutie, Miss Darby!
Me and the BFE!
One of the highlights of the night was annoying Alicia, the daughter of one of my dear friends. She's so sweet to put up with me, ha ha!
The best part of Mormon Night? Seeing past missionaries that we love and miss - Elder Tharp...
and Elder Smith!
We moved down about half way through the game where the air wasn't so stuffy. Good times out in the open!
Silly Noah!
Never thought I'd be celebrating 20 years of marriage at an O's game but it was all good.
Celebrating 20 years with this wonderful family of mine!

A Morning With No

The older two kids were off doing other things so Friday morning, August 21st, it was just Noah and I meeting up with some other families at Rock State Park for a fun-filled morning adventure. Before we headed up there I took Noah to get one of his favorite treats - a churro. He was a pretty happy boy!
At the park we hung out at a beautiful part of the river where the water was pretty calm and the kids could just float around.
Audrey and Noah loved collecting rocks as well.
Love this cute boy of mine!
I think Noah really enjoys hanging out with the cute Klein girls.
They found an interesting rock to explore.
It was a lovely, lazy morning, trolling along the river, chatting with good friends, and soaking up the beautiful sunshine!

Coolin' Off with some Ice Skating

By Thursday, August 20th, I was plum worn out and wasn't up for any more adventures for the week but the kids had other ideas. Two families from our group were taking advantage of the ice skating coupon from the library and my kids wanted to join them so, despite my exhaustion, off we went! Turns out it was a nice relaxing adventure - the moms sat and talked and the kids had a blast skating.  Plus it was super nice to get inside and stay cool considering it was one of those ugly humid summer days.
Savannah has been ice skating a few times so she knew what she was doing.
Noah, on the other hand, needed a little extra help, first from the walker...
and then from the wall.
Skating with friends always keeps one balanced as well;
but sometimes it makes it a little harder to stay upright...
sometimes, your friend, or little brother, brings you down.
Noah struggled most of the two hours of skating but still had a great time.
Xander had a great time skating with his buddy Drew and, for his first time, picked up on it really well.
Acting silly.
Xander started doing tricks with the skaters in the middle of the rink.
Cute girls!
And guys.
Watch out for Spencer...he's looking a little unsteady.
Wait for it...
down he goes!!
I caught them when they were all on their feet.
Didn't last long!
Such a fun group of kids!
