A "Stroll" Through Havre de Grace

Tuesday, August 18th's Adventure - an afternoon in the lovely coastal city of Havre de Grace. Our crew is growing!
We even got a picture of the moms this time - Emily, Elinor, me, Melissa, and Nichole.
I love strolling along the boardwalk in Havre de Grace, looking out at the Chesapeake Bay, and at one particular spot sitting on the rocks, soaking up the sun and the peaceful waters. But the teenagers had a different plan. Once we hit the boardwalk it was like they were off to the races! No strolling for them!
Noah even caught a ride for a bit with Jared.
And Xander matched the brisk pace while walking Andy.
I guess I can't blame them...it was an absolutely sweltering day and all of them just wanted to get to the lighthouse. Such great poses!
We had to take a group shot in front of the lighthouse.
Taking a break in the shade.
Xander was all ready to fight off the pirates if they showed up...which they didn't.
After our brief stop at the lighthouse, we headed over to Bomboy's Candy Shop. Chocolates, candies, and stuffed animals galore!
Andy was a favorite with my boys.
Ice cream was a perfect way to cap off this adventure!
We took up their whole front porch!
My favorite poses in this one have to be June milking the cow and Noah patting his bum!
On the way back to the car, June and Jared were trying to be "helpful" and get out Xander's loose tooth which had been causing him a lot of pain. Despite their best efforts, the tooth remained.

Chalk up another fabulous summer adventure!
