Saying Goodbye to Paradise

Unfortunately, all too soon, our departure day arrived. It was extremely hard to wake up to yet another gorgeous day, knowing that we had to leave.
Kellan and Noah ditched their house so Noah had slept on the couch in the main room. I think even he dreaded leaving because it took a lot to wake him up that last morning.
Enjoying one last breakfast.
We packed everything up and headed down to the dock to return our rental cars and get our tickets for the ferry. Before leaving we did some last minute shopping in the open air market.
Getting ready to board.
We got seats on the top so we could have our final view of St. John be a good one. But boy, was it hot!
Until next time, St. John!
It was tough saying goodbye to family at the airport.
We were all tuckered out as we made our way home!

But our delays and late night flights were nothing compared to the poor Clarks, Bryan, and Mom and Dad who, due to a hurricane, got stranded for more than a day at the Miami airport. I felt so bad for them that such a wonderful and amazing week had to end on such a sour note but I know that the sweet memories of our time together in St. John far outweigh the negative ending. Hopefully we'll be able to return someday.
