Last year Savannah didn't get her application in in time to play in the powder puff game so this year she made sure to get it done right away.
I'm so glad she did because it was so much fun watching her play! A pre-game shot of the seniors...
and an encouraging talk from Coach Ewers.
Let's go Seniors!!
There's my Sav, #3. She was so glad she chose to play on the defense because she got much more playing time which is always more fun.
Some sideline instruction from Coach Ross..
as well as a few laughs.
What a jump!
She was able to hit down several passes to the receiver she was covering, her good friend and fellow soccer teammate, PR.
What would a Powder Puff game be without the cheerleaders?!?!
These crazy guys put on quite the show!
And they WERE crazy....it was absolutely freezing and there they go, running in their little shorts all the way around the track.
Back to the game, where the seniors were absolutely dominating the juniors.
Savannah had a great game and only backed off when one particular junior, Caris, was running at her. She told me later there was no way she was getting in Caris's way...she's a beast, ha ha!
The Seniors crush the Juniors!!
Celebration time!!
Seniors....Seniors!!
A few last pictures of those awesome cheerleaders...
and the victors!
My cute girl and Celine!
