10 months

I can't believe I haven't posted about Xander's mission since April! So, time for a photo dump from April to July 10th, his 10 month mark. Right at the end of April he found out that Elder Bingham would be transferring to a different area so of course they had to soak up some time with some of their favorite people in the area!
Games with one of Xander's favorites, Jerrold.
Xander was also released as a District Leader.
It was super hard for Xander to say goodbye. He and Elder Bingham got along really well and were a great team!
His new companion, Elder Call! Elder Call quickly became one of Xander's favorite companions!
Time at the temple.
In Xander's new apartment complex lives one of the missionaries that had served in our ward in Maryland when Xander was younger. Elder Jenkins!!
Xander loved being able to drive the car up to Salt Lake.
Cool view of the font.
Elder Bingham back for a baptism.
Fishing on Memorial Day.
Neighborhood party.
The last zone conference President and Sister Evanson.
The Orem temple with William.
I had reminded Xander that June 6th was D Day and that if he saw a World War II veteran, he should thank him for all he did. But I told him the chances of seeing a veteran were pretty slim since we have so few left with us. Well, he decided to prove me wrong, ha ha! He found his veteran!
Baptism...
and joy!
Hangin' with Jerrold.
His seventh transfer as a missionary! His time with Elder Call came to an end as well as his time in Pleasant Grove where he served for 5 months. Xander and Elder Call spent their last few days before the transfer saying goodbye to some of their special friends.
New mission - Saratoga Springs - and new companion, Elder Powell. They whitewashed into their new area, Saratoga Springs Riverside and Springside.
David was looking at Facebook one evening while we were in Maryland and came across this post! We were so excited to see our favorite missionary! This couple were friends of Dave and Jackie for years.
I absolutely love getting pictures and texts filled with kind words about Xander from random strangers in Utah. It makes my day!
Jerrold's baptism! Xander said: "The spirit was so strong and I was so proud of Jerrold and his desire to change his life so he could follow Jesus Christ."
The Saratoga Springs send off with trainings and testimonies shared by President and Sister Evanson.
Jaeyun's baptism! Unfortunately Xander was not able to attend but was so grateful that he was able to teach him and help him have that desire to be baptized.
Celebrating Elder Powell's birthday.
Maria's baptism. She asked Xander to do it and he did it in Russian!
Meet the mission leaders - President and Sister Cisneros!
Hangin' out on the 4th of July!
