Officially a Missionary
Monday, August 25th - Noah started Home MTC!
Later that evening he was set apart as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Since family was spread all across the country, we had a big Facetime zoom going on.
Noah with President Hancock.
The days are long and tiring but Noah is enjoying it, especially meeting all the people in his district. I'm trying to keep him well fed during breaks!
Gotta have those Dunkin' treats!
Treasuring every moment I still have him home.
A few lessons for the mission field.
His final day at church.
And some missionary photos.
Oh, and one final foot massage during scripture reading.
I'm sure going to miss this kid!!

Goodbyes
The time has come...to say farewell! First it was Savannah and Mason heading back to St. Louis...
Two years until they're together again.
and then Ashlyn heading off to BYU!
The last time these cousins will be together for 2 years!
Heidi and Ryan said their goodbyes to Noah and then we all realized they would see him again before he left, ha ha! Still love having the pictures.

Happy Birthday, DP!
We had a fun filled day celebrating our favorite guy! Savannah and Mason even made another trip out so they could be here for David's special day. It started with some fun instagram posts from Savannah.
Probably my favorite, ha ha.
A Dunkin' run before the football game.
Unfortunately Kellan didn't get much action today but it was still fun to cheer the team on!
This was also Noah's last football game before the mission!
Later that afternoon we headed over to the Clarks for a birthday bash since it's Larry's birthday as well.
And then we had a fire!! The pictures do it zero justice! It was a rager and melted a huge hole in the back of the smoker.
But the party must go on!
Ready to eat!
Casualties of "the great birthday fire".
More time in the pool playing their new favorite game.
Funniest moment - Savannah had come in to use the bathroom and after catching a quick glance at her I asked, "Oh my gosh, are you naked?" We all got a good chuckle out of her reaction.
Back at home it was time to open gifts.
I was so excited to give him his new Utah shirt and he seemed to like it as well. He has yet to wear it.
