Little Adventures

The day after Christmas we had plans to spend the day with the Clarks up at their house but first we took a slight detour down by the Ohio River to see the birthplace of President Ulysses S. Grant. We had never done this as a family so I thought it would be a neat thing to check out.
It was pretty chilly but not unbearable to get out of the car and look around but you would have thought we'd asked Noah to walk 1,000 miles through the Arctic snow. He was NOT happy about our little adventure, insisting it was WAY TOO COLD to be outside.
He did join us, however, after many nicely veiled threats and I got my fill of fun family pictures, ha ha!
I love going on these fun little adventures with my family.
We spent the next two days hanging out with the Clarks, playing games...
playing video games...
flying Kellan's drone...
talking, laughing, watching movies and football, shopping, and just enjoying being together. The kids spent the night and got to go on a special outing for ice cream! Their Aunt Heidi and Uncle Ryan sure spoil them.
