I wasn't thrilled with how they did the fall sports banquet this year; I really could have done without meeting in the auditorium with all the other fall sports teams and listening to all their awards. Oh, well...
Some fun pictures before heading up to the IB wing for desserts and final thoughts from the coaches.
Coach Rankin mentioned Savannah's emotional apology when she missed the goal against Harford Tech and he gave it a very positive spin which surprised us. She has loved playing for the high school team and, although it has been filled with a lot of challenges and heartache, she has come out stronger because of those experiences. I will definitely miss watching her and her teammates play!
Coach Merritt - if only he could have been of been her head coach. He truly appreciated her soccer abilities and his nickname for her was "vulture".
Love these Lady Rams!

Kicking Off November
I had promised Noah he could have a Halloween party this year and we had it all planned out...and then Savannah's second playoff game got scheduled for the exact Friday night he was supposed to have his party. So, we had to postpone it and Noah ended up having his party the night AFTER Halloween. Oh, well, we do what we can do. Unfortunately several of his friends couldn't make it or forgot so it ended up just being Noah along with two of his best pals, Parker and Marty. They had a great time together! Monster pizzas for dinner...
decorating pumpkins...
and then watching Men in Black. It was the first time for all of them and believe it or not, they were scared! I hadn't thought of it as a scary movie but that worked out in my favor.
The next day David and I headed up to Harrisburg to watch Alex Wardle play in one of his last college soccer games. He had been thinking of quitting earlier in the season but I'm glad he didn't because I really enjoy watching him play.
It was a great way to kick off November!

Halloween 2020
Halloween started off bright and early with a spooky seminary celebration!
I skipped the carving this year because I was heading straight to work after class but there were still DM pumpkins! This year they drew pictures on them that represented the DM scriptures.
I also spooked up the tombstones by putting them in the darkened gym.
They did a fabulous job with their DM pumpkins!
Xander's last football game of the season fell on this day (I'll never understand that). They played against Bel Air and it was a tough one!
Xander going up against an old Buc teammate, Nate.
Both teams fought hard but in the end we were able to walk away with the win, 8-0. What a great way to end the season!
Time to trick or treat!
David dropped Noah and Parker off at the top of the hill and they worked their way down. They made quite the haul!
The parent tax...
and the hopeful one.
Meanwhile, Savannah and Xander attended a Halloween party at the Wine's house. Xander didn't make it into the pictures because he was a little late due to his football game but apparently they had a fun time.
Another successful Halloween in the books!
