Wedding Week - Day 3

Wednesday morning hotel breakfast.

Xander went off with Harrison to visit the farm, the girls got their nails done...

and the history nerds went off to visit the family home of John Wilkes Booth, which we had never been to in all the time we lived in Maryland. It is only about 15 minutes from our Maryland home and when we pulled up, the gate was locked! And apparently the house is like 1/2 a mile down this forested road so we couldn't even get a glimpse! I was so disappointed so we considered climbing the fence, ha ha.

We decided to be good citizens, however, and just pose for pictures next to the little sign.

And then once again temptation struck as we found the gate keys in the mailbox. Alas, visiting the home will have to wait for another trip.

After lunch we picked up all the flowers for the reception and then headed back to the hotel to get ready for the big party!!
