Jamaica - Day 4

Wednesday was an absolutely gorgeous day! The wind had died down so there was now only a slight breeze and the sun was shining bright and beautiful. We had breakfast and then enjoyed our morning stroll, this time checking out a little more of the resort.
We checked out the spa;
and then posed for some pictures at the wedding gazebo situated on the cliffs overlooking Poseidon Cove beach.
Getting our Day 4 selfie done early!
It's just so beautiful here!
I love all the colorful flowers...

and the cool palm trees.
After seeing the beauty of Poseidon Cove while on our morning walk, we decided to spend the rest of our day there. When we first arrived there was only one other couple there so we had our pick of the spots. We thought this little cove was perfect.
Ahhh, this is the life!
There was lots of debris and leaves close to the shore but once one got out further in the water it was much clearer. We would read for awhile and then, when we got a little too hot, we would cool off in the water.
We had lunch at the little restaurant overlooking the beach. Such a beautiful view and so peaceful.
Our little cove was overrun by other people by the time the afternoon came around so we moved to the other side of the beach where we found ourselves pretty much alone. Once again we read, took a nap, and just enjoyed the time together.
The waters of the Caribbean are the best!
This bird wanted my food...
a guy found this dead crab in the ocean and pulled him out for us to see...
and I was fascinated by all the cute little sand crabs scuttling around the beach.
Yet another amazing sunset!
We headed back to the Lotus for dinner because I was craving the sushi. I was not disappointed! The shrimp tempura was pretty tasty as well. I love how they display the food!
Our lovely swan towel.
In Jamaica the nights are just as beautiful as the days.
