Cub Scout Day Camp 2015

This year Cub Scout Day Camp coincided with Savannah's Young Women camp so, instead of visiting family in Cincinnati at that time like we usually do, we made sure we stayed in town and both boys got to attend. This was actually Xander's very first time at camp and unfortunately his last because of his age. I wish we had had Xander attending every year because he absolutely loved it and plans on being a volunteer next year. Noah was also a big fan of camp and every day when I would pick up the boys they would both have huge smiles on their faces. The ride home was always filled with stories of all the fun things they had done that day!
The theme of camp was CSI and Noah's Den was called Sherlock Holmes.
The best thing about camp was getting to do all these fun activities with some of his best buds from church!
 Gabe, Noah, and Owen.
Once again - those lips!
Noah's mug shot...let's hope this is a one time occurrence!
Doing some archery!
Such sweet innocence! Love this picture of Noah and Owen.
Unfortunately Noah's den leader had so many boys in her group that she didn't get a chance to take that many pictures. Xander's leader, on the other hand, was a bit more picture happy like me.
Xander absolutely loved his days spent shooting;
fishing;
practicing archery;
rope climbing;
designing;
slinging stuff;
and doing experiments.
Xander also got a mug shot...
right before his den was put in jail!
Taking a water break...
and saving lives - all part of the normal day at cub scout camp.
Doing some more building;
and getting sprayed off!
It was extremely hot several of the days they were there so the boys were overjoyed when they got cool off time!
Xander's fun den!
The boys had a blast spending time with friends: Ben,
Spencer,
a buddy from school,
and Drew.
Lots of time to goof off and have fun!
The last day was probably Noah's favorite because there were firemen AND a fire truck!
Hanging out with Owen's little sister Tessa who wants to be a fire fighter too.
Xander loved the bouncey house!
And his fabulous leader, Ms. Kristen.

I'm so grateful that the boys were involved with cub scout camp this summer and can't wait to see what fun they have next year!
