The Raingutter Regatta 2017

The good 'ole cub scout Raingutter Regatta!

These scouts looked thrilled, don't they?

Just a boy and his boat. Noah decided to stick with the pirate theme.

Okay, they're getting a bit more excited!!

Noah started off with Brother Knox who taught the boys about different parts of a boat.

Next, with Sister Jordan, he learned about nautical flags and then had to pin the sail on the boat.

Finally he got to use up some of that hot air he's full of and do some racing! He did a great job, winning some...

losing a few...

and then winning a few more. He was able to put himself in the playoffs!

Unfortunately he didn't advance to the championship but I was so proud of him for keeping his cool, unlike several of the other scouts, and displaying awesome sportsmanship.
