New Beginnings 2019

Once upon a time, in a ward called Winters Run, the young women welcomed their new Beehives into the organization with an evening filled with fairies, evil queens, magic, trolls, and values.
The leaders dressed up (of course!) as Goldilocks, the Fairy Godmother, and Puss n' Boots.
Rapunzel and the Muffin Man...
along with Jiminy Cricket, Little Red Riding Hood, and Pinocchio were there to introduce the newbies into our world of frivolous, goofy fun.
We were so excited for our big night!
I started off the night in my best Antonio Banderas voice, even pointing out my special boots to everyone, ha ha! The Fairy Godmother then took over...
presenting each of our new Beehives and telling them about the quest they were about to go on.
After receiving a basket from Little Red Riding Hood in which to collect all their goodies, the young girls were off, visiting each room to meet a character who would teach her about a YW value and present her with a small treasure. All I can say is our young women did an amazing job!
Oops! Our Cinderella missed the memo that Individual Worth's color is red. Oh, well.
My cute girl as Little Red Riding Hood.
For an object lesson, the Big Bad Wolf came in and stole one of the girl's cookies that Savannah had given them. Thank goodness our new Beehives were paying attention to what Savannah had been teaching them about Good Works and eagerly shared their cookies with the girl who had lost hers to the wolf.
I don't think Pinocchio was ever this cute!
Uh oh, here comes the wicked queen to tempt our new girls.
And last but not least, our new girls had to face the troll!
In order to cross the bridge, the girls had to answer the questions the troll asked them.
Thank goodness they were all successful...
and each of them received a tiara for completing their quest!
My favorite moment of the night was when a timer all of a sudden went off and the muffin man exclaimed, "My muffins are done!" and went running off to the kitchen! Grace is hilarious!
Some final remarks by Brother Paul...
and then it was time for the refreshments.
The final pictures of the night!

I just have too much fun with these ladies! Another successful night!
