We had a few summer days to fill before heading out to Cincinnati so one of those days we headed up to Rock State Park for some water fun!
Noah always dives right in...
but Xander takes his time.
These two characters! I love when they get along.
While they were swimming, I read and then practiced some photography. This area is absolutely beautiful!
A few more shennanigans...
and then jumping off the rock...
and then it was time to skedaddle because some dark clouds were headed our way. Just as we started to drive off, the heavens opened. What a downpour! I had to take pictures as we sat in line at Chick-fil-A for some ice cream. It was really coming down!
The night before we left for Cincinnati, David got to marry the son of one of my best friends. Of course I wouldn't miss that special event!
Reception fun with the mother of the groom, my dear friend Melissa.
My hot date!
The food was delicious and I'm pretty sure our table ate all the saratoga chips!
Of course there are boomerangs but with the blog we'll just have to settle for pictures.
We are so cool!

Last Day of School
Last day of her junior year...
and she did what all teens who can drive do - she went to breakfast with friends before finishing up finals!
Somehow Xander got away from me but Noah's last day of 6th grade.
Oh, the joy!!
I was still helping out with Activity Day girls so that night, to celebrate the start of summer vacation, we had planned a bunch of water games. Of course it just so happened to be the coolest summer day you could ask for. The girls didn't seem to mind though.
I have absolutely LOVED helping out with my dear friend, Kim. She's the best and we have so much fun together!
Noah made the mistake of coming outside!!
Ha ha, surrounded by girls! Too funny! They quickly soaked him!
He thoroughly enjoyed the attention and the getting wet!
Summer, we are ready for you!!

Father's Day 2019
The kids were so excited to give David their gifts! Savannah made her own gift card to Chick-fil-A for a future daddy/daughter lunch date;
the ever popular yet never used coupon book from Xander;
Xander also thought he was funny giving David this old gift card;
and Noah's card inspired by our recent viewing of the Men in Black movie.
Noah is too much! You know there should be a reprimand in there somewhere but you're laughing too hard.
Some additional gifts to let David know how much we love him.
I am so grateful that David is such a great dad!!

The Little Moments
Every once in awhile I like to add to the blog all the little random pictures of things that we do so here's some from our spring. Noah attended the temple for the first time with David and Savannah. Unfortunately Xander had something going on so he and I couldn't attend.
We love when it gets warm enough to have Ritas!!!
David continues to travel a ton, sending me cool pictures of the things he gets to see...
and the mishaps that occur! Ouch!
When he's home he tries to spend time with the kids, doing fun things and keepin' them active.
Seriously, phones can be the worst!
But it looks like they had a ton of fun!
One of my favorite students graduated and I happened to be subbing on the big award day for the graduates.
I also got to go to her graduation party.
I continued helping my dear friend Kim with the Activity Day girls twice a month. For this activity they got to make yarn bookmarks.
They're all just so dang cute!
And I always try to take the time to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us. I'm a sucker for a beautiful sunset.
