Catching Up With Friends

Tuesday we spent visiting with friends. We stopped at Edgewood High School in the morning so I could say hello to the fabulous receptionist there who quickly became a dear friend, Webster (we call each other by our last names). It was so fun to see her and the school and of course we had to grab a picture of Savannah in front of her old stomping grounds.

Next I headed to lunch with Elinor and Joyce at one of my favorite lunch spots, Thai Spice. Oh, those drunken noodles were delicious!! And Elinor had us try mango rice for the first time - game changer!! One of my new favorite desserts! Dad and the kids hit up Buontempo Brother while I chatted away with these two wonderful women.

We couldn't resist stopping at Brooms Bloom for a tasty afternoon treat!

Next we dropped the kids off, Savannah to spend time with Logan and Noah at Parker's. In the early evening we met up with Rich and Kim for a delightful evening of food and catch up. They filled us in on every thing that's been going on in Maryland since we left. It was great to be out to dinner with them once again. We always have the best time!

Quick stops to see Schinek and Marvin and one last goodbye with Melissa. Wednesday we'll be heading out of Abingdon!
