Memorial Day

One of the reasons we timed the trip when we did was we wanted to catch up with as many church friends as we could and we knew the Memorial Day Breakfast would be the perfect time to do it. Winters Run ward meets at one pavilion, Bynum meets in the one right across the road. It was wonderful walking around, giving hugs, chatting with everyone, and catching up with friends.

Afterwards we dropped Savannah off to spend some time with Michaela and Mary...

and then we headed over to Lemon n' Ginger for my all time favorite sushi! It was just as delicious as I remember.

To finish up our day we had dinner at The Greene Turtle. That's the one place Savannah was dead set on going so we had to keep our promise to her!

Meanwhile, back in Ohio, Xander spent the holiday with the Clarks, swimming, eating, and playing games.
