A Day at Rock State

On a beautiful day in August we decided to head out to Rock State Park to do some rock jumping and cooling off in the river. Savannah invited Carolyn along for the fun!
There goes Savannah...
and Noah! Love his face on this one!
Xander was a little more hesitant this visit and was perfectly content to just sit on the rock and watch the others do their jumping.
He finally decided to join in on the fun!
And of course Noah had to find a dead fish. And bring it over to show me.
Two gorgeous girls.
Time to do some floating down the river.
Xander struck a few poses for the camera.
Tubing fun!
It's nice that Carolyn and Savannah aren't bothered by Noah tagging along.
Sometimes little brothers can be annoying but it looks like they're having a good time together.
Such a beautiful setting.
Brothers!
Carolyn's aunt picked her up early to babysit so once she left I tried to snap a few pictures of just my kids.
Not easy when all they want to do is splash each other and goof around.
The best way to end a day at the river is with a tasty ice cream cone from the Jarrettsville Creamery. Thank you, library coupon!
