Non-Stop Soccer and Football

I love the fall for so many different reasons but my most favorite reason is because I get to watch my kids in action on the soccer and football fields. Week 2 of soccer - just one game up at North Harford.
An very intense game with our girls dominating possession and having multiple shots on goal, one of which went in putting us up 1-0.
The second half was more of the same though North Harford definitely picked up their game. A few of our girls, including Savannah, had several breakaway chances to score but were unable to get it past the goalkeeper.
One of Savannah's breakaways!
Love this picture of my Sav!
Almost a score...
We were able to hold on and win 1-0! It's always nice to beat a team that's in our conference!
Now, on to football - Noah against North Harford and Xander against North East. Noah and Xander's games were almost at the same time so it was a divide-and-conquer Saturday. David went with Noah so normally I wouldn't have any pictures but thank goodness one of the dads takes fabulous pictures of all the kids. Of course Noah was selected to be captain when I wasn't there.
A few pictures of Noah in action. They still have him playing on the line.
Another victory against a very tough, undefeated team! Celebration huddle!
LOVE Noah's face!!
Other than that first tough loss, we're having a great season!
Meanwhile, over in Xander's game...
I was so bummed with how their stadium was set up. I couldn't get any good pictures and had to settle for taking them from the bleachers.
Also, for some reason, our boys just couldn't get it together. We were so much better than this other team but our offense was sputtering. One of the only big plays of the game came off of Nate's pick 6.
We were able to pull out the win, 12-6, but it sure was ugly.
