A Pennsylvania Adventure

I always accompany David to YW camp for Bishops Night but this year he would driving from New Jersey and them heading right back there when the evening was through so I decided it was time for me and Noah to have another adventure! We headed up to Pennsylvania Thursday morning, grabbing some Jersey Mike sandwiches on the way. Our first stop was Lititz, a cute little town that several friends had mentioned as a cute place to visit.
We ate a picnic lunch at a park in the central part of the town...
and then walked around, checking out the sights.
The Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery was one of our stops. We toured the bakery and even got a lesson in pretzel twisting!
We're official!
It was a beautiful afternoon and we had fun checking out this quaint little town.
One last stop for chocolate before we were on our way!
Every time I have driven to YW camp, we have passed by this crazy looking elephant and seen the sign for Mister Ed's Elephant Museum and Candy Emporium yet have never stopped. Well, Noah and I decided that today was the day!
What a crazy place!!
Inside we checked out the incredible elephant collection...
the massive amounts of candy and treats, some not too appetizing...
and some silly little features.
After grabbing our sweets, we wandered around the gardens for a bit. They were quite whimsical!
I loved this little teapot shed that housed some very unique teapots.
some of my favorites...
And look who we found!

The first day of our Pennsylvania adventure was a ton of fun! Noah is such a great adventuring companion!
