Christmas Eve

We celebrated Christmas Eve at Mom's house this year with all of our wonderful traditions of food and Christmas Eve activities.
A gift from Bryan - root beer flavored honey!
Getting all our tasty food ready!
Some super smokey steaks!
Once again - kid table...
and adults.
After dinner we met in the family room to sing hymns and read from the scriptures. We also did an object lesson as we talked about the birth of our Savior.
We finished the evening with delicious trifle!
A few final Christmas Eve photos before we head home.
My award winning trifle, ha ha!
By the time we headed home, the snow had already started and was coming down pretty hard. Not going to lie, it was a bit of a scary drive home, especially that last stretch on 48 before we get to our neighborhood. Heidi and Ryan barely made it up the hill! Cars were slipping and sliding and there were plenty who had pulled over to the side of the road. Thank goodness we all made it home safely!
