Softball!

This year Savannah decided to give softball a try. She was able to make the JV team though at the start of the season she mostly sat the bench.

Our spring brought some mighty cold temps!

She started getting into the games by about the 4th inning, mainly playing second base or right field, and she always did a great job. We were always confused as to why the coach didn't play her more often because she rarely made mistakes and was definitely much better than several other girls on the team who started.

Despite her frustrations at not playing more often, she did enjoy hanging out with her teammates. There were some drama moments with some of the freshmen but, overall, they were a fun group of girls.

Savannah was definitely a hitter! (Another reason we were so confused as to why her coach didn't start her.)
