Saturday, August 25 - the day that officially got our busy season started!! It started at 7:00 with Savannah's high school soccer play day. We were able to watch her play two out of the four games she had that morning and she did a fabulous job, scoring 2 goals! Edgewood ended up winning all 4 of their games.
We had to leave Savannah's games early so we could be at the Philadelphia temple for the Atanga's endowment session and sealing. It was just over a year ago that David married them civilly in New York; now, we were with them for the even greater blessings of the temple. What a special day!
While we were at the temple, Noah had his first football game of the season. Thank goodness he was able to catch a ride with one of his coaches; unfortunately their game ended in a loss. We hurried home from the temple, quickly changed, and then hurried up to the football field for Xander's first game. It was so fun to see him back out on the field!
It was a tough game and we ended up losing 13-12. These cute little brothers still tried to get a tunnel going.
All smiles despite the loss!
A nice clip to the back by someone's cleat.
A busy day, quite typical of how our falls usually go!
