Hocking Hills Day 2

Ciara starting the morning off right!
Too funny!!
Sunday morning we decided to go hiking at a place called Ash Cave.
We had a great time but it was frigidly cold and apparently Noah hadn't bothered to pack a winter coat...or gloves...
Gotta hold up that tree!
This particular trail has a recess cave and a seasonal waterfull.
Such a beautiful spot!
Xander told us he was on the hunt for ancient Indian artifacts and finally he found somthing - an "ancient" rope, ha ha!
So many cool ice formations.
After reaching the cave/waterfall area, we were forced to take the one way trail back to the parking lot which included stairs that were encased in ice. Boy, were they slippery! We all clung to the railings and did what we could to stay upright but we still had so many slips and falls; we eventually just started scooting on our butts.
We had a late lunch/early dinner at a nearby restaurant and then headed back to the cabin for an afternoon of spoons! The competition got quite fierce!
Hanging out with Ciara who had gotten out; it's not an easy game for the little ones.
One of the matches came down to these two!
Heidi was victorious!
I started playing and Heidi and I totally kicked butt!
Sister power!
The forecast was calling for a huge snowstorm to hit during the middle of the night so instead of going home the next day, as originally planned, we decided to get out of dodge rather than get snowed in. Some final pictures at our wonderful cabin!
We always have such a fun time together!
