Hocking Hills

Over President's Day weekend, we and the Clarks rented a cabin in Hocking Hills State Park. It was the perfect winter weekend getaway. Since Xander did not want to miss any weight lifting sessions, we headed up late, arriving Friday evening.
Our very memorable snowy pit stop!
By the time we got there, the Clarks were all settled in so we all just chilled, watched basketball, talked, and played games and pool.
Saturday morning we hung out at the cabin for a bit...
and then it was time for some sledding!
Ryan had been told this particular hill was THE spot for sledding but when we pulled up and got a look at it, we were all a little dubious. However, once we got started, it was truly awesome! We were there for almost 2 hours and had a ton of fun! Even I went down the hill!
I love the faces!
I wandered around for a bit taking pictures of the beautiful winter wonderland.
These two are so cute together!
A few cousin and family pictures...
and then it was off for lunch at a nearby lodge where we warmed up with chili and soup.
We spent the rest of the day back at the cabin. The kids showed me all the cool things in the barn - the game room...
and the movie room.
It was fun for them to have a separate place where they could go hang out together.
Pizza for dinner...
and then a night of relaxing and fun. Hot tubbing,
and games.
Yahtzee!
Someone is worn out!
