Cabin Getaway Part 2

Another beautiful day!
One of the sights on our way to breakfast!
We headed to a highly recommended restaurant for breakfast but every other person in Gatlinburg had the same idea so we had quite the wait! Picture taking helps pass the time.
By the time we got in it was closer to lunch time, ha ha!
We then headed over to a place that has horsebackriding but there was nothing available so we signed up to ride the ATVs. While waiting for the guys to pay (of course the lines were super long), the rest of us checked out what there was to see.
There was a band playing for awhile, a zip line, and Ciara did a pretty good imitation of the statue.
And then they found the goats!
I felt so bad for this chicken...it looked like it had seen better days.
Lookin' hot in our helmets!
Time to ride!
We had one scary moment - Heidi accidentally drove up on this hill and the ATV was going to tip over. She stuck her leg out, a natural reflex I'm sure, thinking that she could stop the crash. Thank goodness Xander had the sense to grab onto the trunk of the tree and was able to keep the ATV from crashing over onto Heidi's leg. Everything turned out ok but it was definitely a few tense moments! This was a picture right after Heidi was able to get the ATV down off the hill.
Our guide was able to get a great group shot of us! Who knew my phone camera could do such cool things?
Ready for some more!
After riding the ATVs, the kids spent some time riding tubes down the slides. They had a blast!
A little more time with the goats before heading back to the cabin.
This is the closest we got to Dollywood...it's just too dang expensive!
We spent the evening playing more games...
swimming...
and enjoying dinner.
Ryan took this crew to ride the night time roller coaster...
while the rest of us played several games of Telestrations. A sampling of our amazing drawings!
Sunday morning it was time to pack up and head home. Enjoying our last few moments at this wonderful cabin.
After breakfast we made one last stop before heading out - Knife Works. Both Kellan and Noah were dying to stop at what is supposedly one of the largest knife stores in the world. I must admit it was pretty cool!
I mean honestly, could there be a cooler throne?!?!?
