Fall is always a busy time for our family. Between scouts, school activities, football, soccer, and church, we are constantly running in all directions but I wouldn't have it any other way. Savannah fully embraced the life of a high school freshman -
classes, social life with friends, and attending school functions, including football games. She and her friends loved to show their school spirit!
Thank goodness she also continued to feed her spiritual side as well, serving in the Mia Maid class presidency and earning her Honor Bee.
We also ventured one night into driving. Despite the jerky motions, nervousness, and a fear of turning the wheel, she got in a little driving time and eagerly looks forward to our next lesson.
Xander enjoyed some golfing dates with his dad...
and continues to look like an abused child as he wracks up the football bruises.
I also got the chance to chaperone his 6th grade field trip to the Corn Maze.
Thank goodness my group of boys were pretty mellow. Yes, we had the class clown and the continuous talker in our group but we had fun!
Finding those clues!
Group selfie time!!
We made it!
Enjoying a picnic lunch.
Our family participated in our ward's Day to Serve one Saturday by clearing trails at a local scout campsite. Of course Noah found a little friend.
Noah and I always enjoy our dates, including this one that involved Menchies and the new animated Scooby Doo movie.
I was able to cheer him on at his school's Laps for Learning event.
Smile for the camera!
Look at him go!
He did a great job though he did get a little worn out at the end.
And when he's worn out he gets a little grumpy and did NOT want to get his picture taken with the eagle. Instead of getting me a cute picture of him and their mascot, he just ran right by.
At the pack meeting in October Noah and his friend Owen performed a "magical skit".
Leaning far away from the blazing hot fire. Gotta get those marshmallows roasted but not at the expense of frying off your face!
Hangin' with friends at the scouts grill night!
And of course there always has to be some dabbing.
And push ups...though I'm not quite sure why.
Getting the grill all set up...
and now just waiting for that tasty hamburger to be ready.
A definite thumbs up - for the hamburger AND the activity. The scouts always love grill night!
Sometimes there are just no words.
Of course the goofiness never stops around here - these boys are always finding new ways of being crazy together!
And I continued with subbing which has been a great blessing in my life, especially when I get to see this girl at school.
