Fall Youth Activities

We had some really fun youth activities during the fall. One night the young men and young women watched a video about a teenager who has no arms and has learned how to live her life using her feet in ways that were absolutely amazing. She is definitely an inspiration. We gave the youth a chance to try out various daily activities just using their feet! Savannah gave toe texting a try...
And then they tried to make a sandwich.
Xander didn't do too bad.
I was totally impressed that most of the kids were successful at brushing their teeth.
Savannah not only spread toothpaste from the tube...
but brushed away like a pro.
They even read some books, turning the pages with their toes. It was definitely an evening to appreciate our many blessings.
Toward the end of October the young women gathered at the Hardys house for our annual Bonfire and Scary Stories evening.
Roasting marshmellows for smores.
I teased the girls later about the smoky green ghost that had spent the evening with us.
It was a spooky fun night!
Another evening the youth got together to make 300 sandwiches for the local shelter.
Savannah with one of her favorites, Brother Paul.
It was a sticky night!
In November the youth attended the temple for baptisms. It was Xander's first time and I was so bummed to miss it but somebody had to stay home with Noah. I love that my kids can participate in such an important work.
