Football week 9 was NOT a pretty week! First, Noah's team got stomped on by Aberdeen. It was a butt whooping of major proportions!
But when you're facing 11 year old kids who are as big as the ref or as fast as rabbits, it's definitely tough! Aberdeen was definitely a good team! I took a picture of some of their players because I could NOT get over their size!
The coaches are always encouraging, though, and our boys walked away not feeling entirely crummy.

The boys were lucky enough to have Grandma and Grandpa Pierce here to cheer them on. They got in Friday night and spent Saturday attending games before leaving Sunday for Virginia.
No pictures of Xander's game but they lost as well. They were definitely out of sync and did not play in their usual style. Also, at practice the night before Xander had been hurt by one of his teammates. I thought it had been an accident but apparently this teammate was going up to guys and ramming his knee into their bum for fun. Xander was hurt so badly that Saturday he could barely walk and didn't play that much in the game. When I found out what had actually happened, I was fuming! My poor X!
