The craziness that defines every fall season for us started on Thursday, August 29th with Savannah's first scrimmage of the season. They played at Kenwood and got a great start to their season with a 4-0 win. Savannah scored the opening goal - yay! - and had a massive collision with the goalie.
I am so sad that this is her last season of soccer; I'm going to savor every second of it!
Friday afternoon I got to bake in the hot sun up at Aberdeen watching Xander play in a scrimmage against North Harford. They looked pretty good and ended up winning the scrimmage, 7-0. We got to cheer for our neighbor Solomon as well since he plays for North Harford.
Saturday it was Noah's turn!
His team was looking sharp in their red!
This year they divided the boys into two teams, Noah being on the B team. With smaller teams, Noah was able to get much more playing time, thank goodness. He mostly plays on defense as a middle linebacker.
Noah played a tough game, getting 3 tackles and even blocking an extra point kick!
Unfortunately they had a really rough start to the season, losing to Fallston 40-6.
