Leaving the Office

I got a job as a front desk specialist at a cardiologist office when we first moved here and truly enjoyed working there, especially because of the people I worked with. However, one morning while I was walking into work, I got the distinct impression that it was time to think about getting back into the schools. When David got a job in February I knew it was time to act on that prompting and I gave my notice. I have never worked at a place that treated my leaving in such a sweet way. First, there was a going away dinner.

My last Thursday with Dr. Safar. I'll never forget how kind he was after Dad passed away and how supportive and excited he is for me to get back to "teaching".

My final day was definitely bittersweet. My coworkers are just the best!

When I walked out to my car they had seran wrapped it! They are all too funny! I'm excited to move on to my next adventure and I definitely will not miss the office life but I will for sure miss these special people that I spent the last year and a half with.
