Priesthood and Seminary Graduation

Sunday was the final day of our event filled weekend celebrating Xander. It was Stake Conference weekend but, since David's parents were in town, we received permission to have Xander receive the Melchizedek priesthood and be ordained to the office of an elder in our home. We were also able to have Mom join us via Facetime since she's still struggling with her blistered feet. It was a beautiful experience and I'm so glad Xander could be surrounded by so many people who love him. Of course we had to take a ton of pictures afterwards.

Later that evening we attended seminary graduation. Noah received a certificate of attendance and Xander got to walk the stage as a seminary graduate. They definitely could take some lessons from the Baltimore, Maryland Stake as to how a seminary graduation should look (Xander didn't have a single teacher there to shake his hand) but at least there's a special night to acknowledge this amazing accomplishment. We're super proud of him!
