Xander's Mission Call

Xander's mission papers went in at the end of May so we had been eagerly awaiting his assignment. Of course we all had to guess as to where we thought he might go. None of us guessed foreign because there's still the restriciton on serving outside the country if you don't have your Covid vaccine, which he does not. Guesses included California, Arizona, Nevada, New Hampshire, with me guessing Utah, though with me it was more a hope than an actual belief (I'm always keeping fingers crossed about residency). Well, he received his assignemt on June 13th and will be serving in the Utah, Orem mission!!! I was thrilled and he was too - Xander loves Utah!! The only downside is he'll be living close to Cougar country for two years. He will be starting home MTC on Monday, September 11th which incidentally is the same date David entered the MTC all those years ago!
