Soccer Camp Week 2 - Days 1 & 2

Second week of soccer camp! I was definitely missing two of my favorite campers - Savannah, who was heading off to YW camp for the week, and Noah, who had absolutely no interest in doing a second week. There's always less kids the second week and we lost one of the coaches, Jahlil, but we gained Coach Nikki and her cute kids! Spent the morning inside monitoring the indoor camps and staying out of the hot, hot sun!
It might be the second week with some different kids but the activities stay the same. Monday's lunch activity was once again the bubble gum blowing contest.
Sheri and Nikki have it!
Not too shabby, AJ!
Love hangin' with the Wardle crew!
Spent the afternoon inside as well. I decided to pull out all the successful activities from last week and give them another try. Worked once again!
Hey, this one was new!

Took a little break outside to enjoy some freezie pops!
Lots of smiles for the first day!
Now let's play some soccer!
Even Sheri got into the mix!
Must have been a hot one outside! I'm glad I was inside.
Bill started off Day 2  with some inspirational music!
Water balloon time!!!
And playing with Coach Alex!
A much, MUCH smaller teenage group this week so Xander got a promotion. All age groups get excited about the water balloons.
Xander got quite creative with his "trapping".
Thank goodness Coach Alex is around to entertain these littles who sometimes don't feel like playing soccer...even though it IS a soccer camp.
My cute teenage girl group!
Playing World Cup with Coach Nikki!
The crazy middle group. Some of these boys drove me absolutely bonkers!
I'm not sure whether Coach Alex was serious or just joking when he pulled out the stake and told the middle group to start running. Ha ha! They were definitely tough but it sure lightened the mood.
More of their antics!
And a few lunch time antics from Kennedy.
We are the Wonder Coaches!
Coach Alex got the little group all warmed up for the afternoon.
I headed outside to watch Xander and the older kids play. First some warm ups...
a few games...
and definitely more freezie pops!
I was really proud of Xander for playing so well with these soccer players!
