Teaching seminary continues to bring so much joy to my life! The last week of October into November we assigned each of the students one of the men called to serve a mission in sections 30-34; they were to do research on him and then make a missionary plaque for him.
The first two days of November the kids presented their plaques to us. They all did such a great job!
Back story to this picture - one night at our young women activity one of the Beehives expressed some very strong opinions regarding the cleanliness of the seminary room. She informed us that when she and her family had been cleaning it the past Saturday morning, "it was disgusting and so dirty, with crumbs mushed into the floor." I honestly did not know what to say! Beehives, I tell ya. So, after our breakfast one Friday morning, when we noticed crumbs on the floor, some of us started laughing about how "dirty" our room was and we took a picture. The things that make you laugh at 6:30 in the morning.
For missionary week we both came in every morning of the week to see the kids work on their project and then present. We love serving together!!
Some stops along the Mormon Trail for our family reading wagons.
I love that I get to immerse myself in the gospel each and every morning.
Our first seminary store of the year...it's always a hit with the kids!
Earning those seminary bucks paid off!
So many amazing things happened in Kirtland!
Learning about the Law of Consecration with a little help from gummy bears.
Friday breakfasts are the best!
More lessons...
and more movement for our wagons.
Some unfortunate events have occurred, though.
